A nuisance wildlife control operator's license will allow you to remove pesky wildlife from residential areas in Louisiana.
There are plenty of critters in Louisiana. However, not all of them are wanted. In fact some, like alligators, nutria and raccoons, can become nuisances. In Louisiana most individual municipalities (cities or parishes) have their own animal control agencies. However, these agencies are primarily responsible for controlling domestic animals such as dogs and cats. In order to remove nuisance animals, one could end up turning to nuisance wildlife control operator. A nuisance wildlife control operator is a private entity that specializes in the removal of nuisance animals.
Contact the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries. This is the state agency responsible for licensing nuisance wildlife control operators. The application process to acquire a nuisance wildlife control operator license contains three steps.
