Removing a stuck memory card
Having a memory card reader on your computer makes transferring photos from your digital camera and other devices to your computer fast and easy, but when that memory card gets stuck, both the card and the reader will be unusable. That is why it is important for computer owners to learn remove those memory cards when they become lodged in the reader.
Instructions
1. Turn off your computer and remove the power cord from the back. Use your flashlight to find the stuck memory card.
2. Insert a small flat head screwdriver into the slot above the memory card. Try to push the memory card forward a little bit with the screwdriver.
3. Carefully insert the tweezers into the memory card slot if it cannot be dislodged with the screwdriver. Grasp the memory card carefully and pull it forward.
4. Check the memory card for damage. Memory cards may become stuck if the label has begun to come loose.
