Make Gelatin

Gelatin makes a good dessert for any party.

Gelatin is a quick and easy-to-make dessert for individuals of all cooking abilities. Gelatin is also an easy dessert to teach children make if they want to be of help to you in the kitchen. While gelatin may not seem like a difficult dish to make, adding too much water can leave the gelatin watery, while too little water can leave the gelatin tough. Whether you want to make strawberry, grape, orange, watermelon or any other type of gelatin, the instructions are the same.

Instructions

1. Take gelatin mix and place it in a bowl.

2. Bring 1 cup of water to a boil. You can do this on the stove, or by microwaving a microwave-safe cup with water for two minutes on high. Pour the cup of boiling water into the bowl with the gelatin mix.

3. Use a large spoon to mix gelatin mix and boiling water. Mix until the gelatin mix is fully dissolved.

4. Add 2 cups of ice cold water to your mixture. Mix for one minute.

5. Pour the mixture into a large pan or individual cups.

6. Place the gelatin in the refrigerator for two hours. This will allow the gelatin to set.
