Stretch Out A Tshirt

Sometimes after washing and drying a t-shirt, the shirt may become a little too snug for comfort. Or like me, perhaps you gained a few pounds are don't like that your favorite shirt is now too clingy. Here is a good way to keep that favorite shirt and still feel comfortable wearing it.

Instructions

1. I suggest putting the t-shirt on to gauge how stretchy you prefer it. Once the t-shirt is on DO NOT TUG at the bottoms to attempt to stretch the shirt - you will rip the seams!

2. Wash the shirt and allow it to air dry. Ball your hands into fists and gently move your hands around the front and side of the shirt stretching every so slightly. Keep repeating this process and start to extend outwards a little further, slowly, until its stretched enough. I repeat the process for the sleeves.

3. Turn the shirt around so the tag is in front and repeat the process listed in Step 2.

4. If you want to lengthen the shirt, now is your chance to do so without ripping the seams. Don't pull too hard though. After you wash it each time, allow it to air dry so it will retain some of the stretch.

Tips Warnings

Pull the shirt out of the washer and shake it out to allow some stretching without compromising the neck.

If you have a severely snug shirt, I recommend a wash first and then air drying it, shaking it out as mentioned above for optimal results.
