Postage machines simplify sending large volumes of mail.
Businesses use mailing machines because they can prepare and send a large volume of mail quickly and efficiently. The Pitney Bowes company sells a variety of mailing machines to suit a range of volume requirements. The machines can be preset to a specific postage class and rate as a default for the setting used most frequently by a particular business. If the normal preset is a first class letter and the business wishes to send a large number of letters with extra weight, for example, the preset can be changed to reflect the required higher postage amount.
