Nocarb Diet Recipes

With obesity becoming a prevalent problem in our society, popular fad diets have become accepted solutions. Out of all the effective dieting methods out there, none has gained the recognition like the No-Carb diet. The No-Carb diet is exactly what it sounds like, full exclusion of carbohydrates from your diet, while using fat and protein as your source of energy. Although it sounds difficult to do, there are many meals that can be made with zero carbohydrates. The following article gives two examples of delicious recipes that have zero carbohydrates in them.

Zero Carb Tuna Melt

The Zero Carb Tuna Melt is a very easy dish that can be done in less than five minutes. All you need is a can of tuna, some mayo and a little bit of cheese. The size of the ingredients used will depend on how many you plan on serving. Start by draining the can of tuna. Then place the tuna in a small oven proof bowl. Squeeze some mayo into the bowl and mix it up with the tuna. Then top the bowl with some cheese. You can use any cheese that you prefer. Place the bowl in the oven and broil on high for three minutes. You do not need experience cooking to whip up this no-carb meal.

No Carb Breakfast

Because eggs have no carbs in them, they are one of the best breakfast foods to eat. For a full no carb breakfast you will need three eggs, fours strips of bacon, cubed American cheese and mayonnaise. Start by boiling a pot of water. Place the three eggs into the pot for six to seven minutes. Once the eggs are ready, drain the pot and place the eggs under cold water to make them easier to peel later. While the eggs are still cooking, heat up a non-stick frying pan and place the four strips of bacon on the pan. Flip them a few times, letting them cook until they are crispy. Remove the shells from the eggs, cut them up into small pieces, and throw them into a bowl. Break up the strips of bacon into small bites and mix them up with the eggs. Add a few cubes of American cheese and finally, mix the whole thing with a little bit of mayo. You now have a delicious breakfast bowl that is high on protein and fat and contains zero carbohydrates.
