Make Punch

Watermelon Punch Bowl

Punch is a drink consisting of a variety of fruit juices, water and sometimes alcohol. It is usually kept in a decorative glass punch bowl, and served with a ladle. There are hundreds of different punch recipes. It's hard to go wrong with any punch, but sometimes certain punches may work better for you than others. It all depends on the kinds of juices you or your guests prefer. Making punch doesn't take much effort; and the result is often quite rewarding.

Instructions

1. Pour 3 quarts of cold, purified water into the punch bowl.

2. Add 36 ounces of pineapple juice to the punch bowl. Use a wooden spoon to stir the water and pineapple juice together.

3. Squeeze out a 12 ounce can of frozen orange juice into the bowl. The orange juice will melt down, creating a slushy consistency to the punch.

4. Squeeze out a 12 ounce can of frozen white grape juice into the bowl. The grape juice will also melt down, creating a slushy consistency.

5. Pour in 12 ounces of sugar water into the punch bowl. To make the sugar water, place 12 ounces of water on the stove and turn the heat to medium high. When water is boiling, add 1 cup of white sugar. Take the pot off the stove and pour into the punch bowl.

6. Garnish with sliced oranges, lemons, strawberries, cherries or limes. Add 1 quart of ginger ale right before serving to guests.
