Make Baconwrapped Chicken Breasts

Strips of bacon add flavor and zest to plain chicken breasts.

Bacon-wrapped chicken breasts are a simple and tasty main dish, easy to bake up and elegant enough to serve for a dinner party. With a dash of hot mustard, the chicken is surprisingly flavorful, even with just three ingredients.

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

2. Wrap one slice of bacon around the boneless chicken breast. Use wooden tooth picks to hold the bacon slice on. The bacon may overlap. Repeat with the other breast.

3. Put the two wrapped chicken breasts in a small baking dish. Cover with aluminum foil.

4. Bake the chicken breasts for 25 minutes and remove the foil.

5. In a small bowl, mix the hot mustard with the water using a spoon.

6. Brush the hot mustard mixture using a pastry brush over the chicken breasts. Bake, uncovered, for another 20 to 25 minutes or until the juices run clear from the chicken breasts.

7. Take the chicken breasts out of the oven and let them sit for 5 to 10 minutes. Remove the tooth picks before serving the chicken breasts.
