Make Honeyroasted Peanuts

Avoid unnecessary additives by making your own honey roasted peanuts.

Peanuts are a quick, delicious and nutritious snack. Whether you are a busy mom needing an easy after-school snack for the kids, or a college student looking for an alternative to chips and greasy snacks for late-night study sessions, honey-roasted peanuts offer an excellent source of protein and unsaturated fats. Plus, the honey adds a little kick to satisfy the sweet tooth. For a little extra sweetness, sprinkle a little powdered sugar on top.

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

2. Place the peanuts into your mixing bowl.

3. Place the butter and honey into the small bowl and heat in the microwave. If you prefer, you can also heat the butter and honey on the stovetop. Mix together and pour over the peanuts.

4. Spread the peanuts onto a cookie sheet and place in the oven for 5 to 10 minutes. Stir them every 1 to 2 minutes until they are golden brown. Let them cool for 5 to 10 minutes before eating them.
