Baked Potato Chips

Finding a tasty snack that is also good for you can be a challenge. To curb cravings for junk food without breaking your diet, you can bake your own potato chips. Baked potato chips are less greasy and have much less fat than fried potato chips. They are also easy to make, ensuring that with a little effort and some time, you can enjoy a fresh, crunchy treat.

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.

2. Spray the baking sheets with a light layer of cooking spray.

3. Cut the potatoes into 1/4-inch-thick slices.

4. Add the sliced potatoes, oil and a tablespoon of salt n the large bowl. Season with some black pepper and a pinch of a season of your choice. Mix well by tossing the potatoes with the other ingredients.

5. Lay the potato slices on the greased baking sheets. Arrange them so they are 1/4 inch apart and not overlapping.

6. Bake the potatoes for approximately 30 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy. Rotate the chips about halfway through, to be sure the potatoes cook evenly.

7. Use a spatula to remove the potato chips from the pan. Lay the chips upon some parchment paper to dry for about 5 minutes.

8. Sprinkle with a touch of more salt, if you'd like.

9. Enjoy!
