Make Hot Chocolate De Menthe

This recipe will show you make minty hot chocolate from scratch. This hot chocolate de menthe is a smooth, warming treat any adult is sure to enjoy. This is a great romantic evening drink as well.Hot chocolate was invented by a Dutchman. Its predecessor however was an Aztec drink made with Mayan harvested cocoa beans. 1. Put the finely chopped bittersweet chocolate into a heat-safe bowl.


2. Put the small pot over low to medium heat and pour in the creamer.


3. Bring creamer to a boil, stirring constantly to avoid burning the creamer.


4. Pour creamer into the heat safe bowl that you put the chocolate in.


5. Stir the creamer in the bowl until the chocolate is fully melted.


6. Pour the mixture back into the pot.








7. Add the milk and simmer over low to medium heat stirring as needed.


8. Pour into mugs and add one shot of creme de menthe to each.
