Blueberries For Breakfast







Fresh blueberries are good and good for you.


Touted as a "superfood," blueberries are a delicious and nutritionally valuable way to start your day off right. Referred to as the "king of fruits" by "The New York Times," blueberries are rich in micronutrients that scientists believe may help prevent heart disease and cancer. Though fresh blueberries contain more nutrients, frozen blueberries can be added to waffles, pancakes, and smoothies for a quick and flavorful boost to your morning routine.


Blueberry Pancakes and Waffles


Blueberries add a nutritious boost to waffles or pancakes. Just add a handful to your normal batter and prepare as usual. This is a delicious way to use frozen berries, which some people prefer because they stay good for much longer than fresh. You can also top frozen waffles with blueberries if that is what you have available. Simply add blueberries to any pancake or waffle batter.
