To Fry A Great Pork Chop In A Skillet

to Fry a Great Pork Chop in a Skillet

fry a great pork chop in a skillet.

There is art involved when you want to skillet fry a pork chop.

Instructions

1. First pick which skillet to fry in. Pick one with a lid. The skillet I use will hold four pork chops at once. An iron skillet is a good choice for this job too.

2. Heat up the skillet to a med-high heat. Around six or seven on some stoves. Apply some non stick spray to the skillet. The trick to skillet fry a pork chop is not to get it to hot. You want to reach the safe temp of 160 Degrees to kill the dangerous stuff but you want to get there slowly. I cook my chops about thirty minutes.

3. I like McCormick Montreal Steak seasoning on pork chops fixed this way. Feel free to use what ever seasoning you like. Put the pork chop in the skillet and sprinkle with seasoning. Cover with the lid. Turn the chops about every five minutes or so. They will cook slow and tale on some of the seasoning taste. When the chops have cooked through I turn the heat up to high and brown the outside of them. Cooking on a low heat keeps the pork moister and makes it tender for delicious pork chop in a skillet fry.
