Instructions


1. Want to make fried fish at home and some homemade tartar sauce? You will need two small bowls. In one you will beat the 2 eggs. In the other you will add the crackers. Then you will need to slice your fish fillets in half lengthwise. You will then take the fish fillet and dip it into the eggs first and then dip them into the crackers. Let these sit for five minutes.


2. You will need to heat your deep fryer to 375 degrees. When it is time you will fry a few fillets at a time. This will take about 2 minutes on each side or until fish is golden brown and flakes with the fork. Repeat this until you have fried all of the fish. You will place the fried fish on paper towels to drain excess oil.








3. In a small bowl you will mix the ingredients for the tartar sauce. You will mix together the one cup of mayonnaise, 2 tablespoons of sweet pickle relish, and one tablespoon finely chopped onions. You will serve this with the fish. You can make some coleslaw or French fries for this meal to be complete.
