Make Popovers

If you enjoy baking, you will be amazed at how easy it is to make popovers. These versatile little hollow rolls make a wonderful addition to most any meal. Serve them alone as a delicious buttery treat, or filled with meats, eggs, salads, fruits mixtures or custard. You can enjoy many of your favorite foods stuffed inside a popover. Instructions








1. Soak the unshelled eggs in a bowl of warm water for about 15 minutes to warm them to room temperature.


2. Preheat your oven to 450 degrees F.


3. Place the flour, milk, eggs, melted butter and salt together in a blender. Blend until all the ingredients are thoroughly mixed.


4. Grease your popover pan, custard cups or muffin tins with oil or butter and place it into the preheated oven for two minutes to warm your pan.








5. Fill each section of your pan half-full with the popover batter.


6. Bake your popovers for 20 minutes at 450 degrees, and then lower the temperature to 350 degrees and bake for an additional 15 to 20 minutes.


7. Allow the popovers too cool slightly before splitting them.
