Make A Refreshing Champagne Punch

Fresh fruit and pomegranate juice are the keys to a refreshing punch.

The key to making champagne punch flavorful and refreshing is to use fresh strawberries and citrus fruit. Pomegranate juice adds an extra zing and gives your punch a lovely pink color. It takes only minutes to mix together the ingredients but make sure to begin preparations at least 30 minutes ahead as the fruit will need to chill and the flavors will need to combine. Perfect for a summer party or a wedding, this punch recipe will service about 24.

Instructions

1. Chill the pomegranate juice and champagne in the refrigerator.

2. Wash and slice 3 cups of strawberries, two lemons, two oranges and two limes. Don't peel the citrus fruits as the peel will help add a refreshing tang to the punch.

3. Stir the cut fruit together in the punch bowl and sprinkle a 1/2 cup of sugar on the fruit. Refrigerate for 30 minutes to 1 hour.

4. Remove the fruit from the fridge and add the 3 cups of pomegranate juice, 3 oz. of brandy and two bottles of champagne and serve immediately.
