Cook Turkey Mignon

Turkey mignon is a lower fat, less expensive version of filet mignon. It is a piece of turkey breast that comes wrapped in turkey bacon. The best way to cook turkey mignon is on a grill. You can use either an outdoor grill or an electric contact grill.

Instructions

1. Thaw your turkey breast if it is frozen.

2. Remove the plastic wrapper.

3. Use a meat fork and pierce the meat all the way through several times. Try not to disturb the pin that holds the bacon around the meat.

4. Sprinkle Cajun spice liberally on the top and bottom of the meat. Rub it in.

5. Drizzle barbecue sauce on the top and bottom of the turkey, and place it in a resealable plastic container. Seal it and put it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes or overnight.

6. Heat an outdoor grill to medium heat, or a contact grill for about five minutes.

7. Place your marinated meat on the grill and cook tit for about six to eight minutes per side, or until the internal temperature is 185 degrees F.
