Successfully remove the bread from a bread maker without tearing the loaf.
Bread makers mix the ingredients, knead the dough and bake the loaf of bread with the push of a button, but you must exert some effort to remove the cooked loaf from the bread maker. Proper removal and cooling of the bread will make it easier to slice, and the bread will have a better quality. Instructions
1. Spray the inside of the bread maker kneading bucket and the mixing paddle with cooking spray before adding the ingredients.
2. Lift out the loaf pan from the bread maker at the end of the cooking cycle. An alarm will sound on your bread maker.
3. Place the pan with the bread in it onto a cake cooling rack to 10 minutes to soften the crust and make removal easier.
4. Hold the sides of the loaf pan with pot holders and flip it upside down over the cooling rack. Gently shake it to dislodge the loaf.
5. Insert the handle of a wooden spoon or a pair of kitchen tongs into the hole at the base of the upside-down loaf and remove the kneading paddle from the bread.
6. Cool the bread for at least 20 minutes or until it is at room temperature before slicing with a serrated bread knife. Cutting a warm loaf of bread will result in tearing the loaf and having uneven slices.
