Easy Focaccia

Focaccia is covered and stored at room temperature.

Focaccia is a flat, Italian bread that is traditionally made with olive oil and often flavored with garlic and rosemary. It is sometimes filled with ham or cheese. Focaccia is an alternative to garlic bread and may be covered with toppings much like pizza. The bread can be used to make paninis or sandwiches, or used as a side dish or appetizer. Prepare and bake an easy focaccia in 30 minutes.

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit. Spray a 15-1/2-by-10-1/2-inch baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray.

2. Unroll a tube of refrigerated pizza crust and place it over the bottom of the pan. Brush 1/8 cup of olive oil on the top of the crust. Sprinkle rosemary, black pepper and Parmesan cheese over the top.

3. Bake for 10 minutes to lightly brown the crust. Remove from the oven.

4. Top the crust with pepperoni, capicola and mozzarella cheese. Bake an additional 5 minutes to melt the cheese. Remove from the oven. Cut and serve.

5. Store covered focaccia at room temperature.
