You may be intimidated by what looks like a complicated job but cooking lobster tails are fun and exciting. Surprise your family and friends by not waiting for a special occasion to cook these extra special treats!
Instructions
1. Place the lobster tails in the refrigerator overnight to thaw.
2. The next day, preheat oven to 350 degrees.
3. Use kitchen scissors to cut through the tough top shell of the lobster. Do not cut all the way in half, just cut through the top shell to the beginning of the tail section.
4. In a small saucepan, melt about 1/4 cup butter.
5. Pull the shell open and remove the lobster meat in one complete section.
6. Place some butter in the empty shell, and season the lobster meat with salt and pepper.
7. Mince the garlic cloves and mix with the melted butter.
8. Place the empty tail on a baking sheet. Place the meat back into the opened shell, and cover with the melted butter/garlic mixture.
9. Bake the tails about 15 minutes.
