Make Table Decorations From Juice Glasses

Decorating your table for a special meal or an event doesn’t have to cost you an arm and a leg. Instead, with a little innovative thought, you can actually use things that you might already have on hand to make unique and beautiful table arrangements.

Instructions

Make Table Decorations From Juice Glasses

1. Decide what type of centerpiece you want for your table. Choices include, but are not necessarily limited to, things like floral arrangements, greenery, candles, or something else altogether.

2. Determine your color scheme for the table so that you can match or compliment your table arrangements accordingly.

3. Determine the number of glasses that you want to use for your table decor.

4. Decide if you want to cluster the glasses together, spread them out around the table, or use them for individual arrangements at each place setting.

5. If you don't already have all of the items on hand that you will need for your table arrangement(s), make a trip to make those purchases.

6. Begin putting your arrangements together following some of the steps outlined below.

7. Use flowers from your garden for your table centerpiece. You can either do a free-form design, just placing the flowers in the juice glass full of water or you can arrange them creatively with a bit of floral foam. If you don't have a garden, then purchase the flowers that you want to accent your table and arrange them accordingly. These multiple glasses of flowers can be clustered together in the center of the table, spread out around the table, or set at each place setting. If you choose to cluster them, think of using a table runner, piece of mirror glass, or charger plate to place them on. This will add an extra pop of color. Feel free to combine them with pillar, taper, votive, or tea light candles as well; clustering them around the candles or in between each glass.

8. Place your choice of greenery in your juice glasses. Cluster the glasses together or spread them out around the table. Add a bit of candlelight with pillars, tea lights, votives, or tapers. Mix in some candles in pillars, tapers, votives, or tea lights; clustering the greenery around the candles or in between.

9. Fill the glasses two-thirds full of aurora borealis crystal rocks purchased from a local dollar or craft store. Then nestle a small tea light candle in the center. Spread the glasses in a straight, or swirled line down the center of the table or place one glass at each place setting. If you want to add a pop of color, use a colored coaster underneath each glass. The rock will pull in some of the color once the tea light candle is lit. Accent with flowers or greenery if you desire.

10. Fill each juice glass two-thirds to three-quarters full of water. Add a drop of food color (all the same or mix and match per glass). Place a floating candle on top. Cluster these in the center of the table, spread out around the table, or set at each place setting. Accent with flowers or greenery if you desire.

11. Fill the juice glasses with your favorite fruit--slices of lemon, lime, or orange or with berries like cherries, strawberries, raspberries, or blueberries. This will add color as well as give guests an option to have some fruit rather than rich, calorie-filled cake, pie, or other decadent dessert. Place the glasses in a straight or swirled line down the center of the table where all guests can reach them. Accent with flowers or greenery if you desire.

12. Fill the glasses with colorful candies like M&M's, Kissables, Gummy Bears, Red Hots, or Licorice for a beautiful table arrangement for a children's party. Cluster the glasses in the center of the table or place down the center of the table.

13. Fill the glasses with fragrance gel capsules all in the same or in complimenting colors. You can nestle a tea light candle in the center if you choose or just let the beautiful gel capsules shimmer in the candlelight. Cluster the glasses together in the center of the table or spread out around the table. Accent with flowers or greenery if you desire.
