Make A Margarita Maker

Margaritas are a frosty cocktail.

Of all drinks made using tequila as its primary base, margaritas are among the most common and popular of them all. Margaritas are a festive and fun drink, and they are not all that difficult to make, even in your own home. While you may not necessarily have your own margarita mixer, you may have the tools necessary to make this frozen specialty drink. Using a traditional home blender, you can make this frosty cocktail.

Instructions

1. Plug in your blender, making sure that the cover fits securely when turned on. This will serve as your makeshift margarita maker.

2. Pour the ice into the blender. The amount of ice you use will vary depending on how thick you want the margarita to be.

3. Pour the rest of the ingredients into the blender.

4. Close the lid on the blender securely. Hold it down and run the blender at low speed. Mix the ingredients well. Run at a low speed until the ice is crushed, then run at a higher speed to create a smoother consistency.

5. If desired, rub lime around the rim of the glass. So coat the edge of the glass with margarita salt, pour salt into a flat dish. After the glass has had the line rubbed on its outer edge, gently dip the top of the glass in the salt.

6. Pour the mixture into margarita glasses.
