Make Crab And Avocado Soft Tacos

Fish tacos are a common street food item in many coastal towns and areas with access to fresh seafood all over the world. This recipe dresses up the traditional fish taco, replacing cod with fresh cooked crab meat marinated in lime juice and fresh, creamy avocado. Crab and avocado tacos are quite versatile and can be topped with your favorite homemade salsa or guacamole. Crab and avocado tacos make a wonderful appetizer for parties or serve them with chips and salsa for a simple, complete meal.

Instructions

1. Place the cooked crab in shallow bowl and squeeze the juice of one half lime on top. Mix with a spoon and let marinate for one hour.

2. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Wrap tortillas in aluminum foil, with a maximum of four in each stack. Heat tortillas five to seven minutes or until warm. Turn off the oven and leave tortillas inside.

3. Slice the avocado. Toss with fresh lemon juice to prevent discoloration.

4. Put one or two tortillas on each plate. Spread sour cream onto each of them with a butter knife.

5. Top the tortillas with the lime marinated crab, jalapeno, tomato, avocado and onion. Garnish with cilantro and lime juice. Serve immediately.
