Make Michoacan Beef Stew

Beef stew is a common food item found on the tables of many restaurants and homes throughout the world. This beef stew originated from the Michoacan region of Mexico, an area with a population of around 4 million people bordered by Jalisco, Colima and the Pacific Ocean. Michoacan beef stew spices up a traditional beef stew by using common Mexican ingredients including a fairly spicy smoked jalapeno pepper, also known as a chipotle chili. Michoacan beef stew is the perfect meal to warm you up on a cold evening, and is traditionally served in small individual bowls with rice, beans and tortillas.
