Instructions
1. Dice the onion and celery into small pieces.
2. Add chicken, celery, onion and broth to a sauce pan and cook until tender.
3. Remove the chicken from the broth.
4. Pull the chicken meat off the bone. The chicken does not have to be in neat pieces. If the chicken is in chucks or strips it is fine.
5. Add the butter to the broth and stir until the butter melts.
6. Cut or tear the tortillas into narrow strips. The strips can be in squares or fun shapes for smaller children.
7. Place the tortilla strips in the chicken broth.
8. Cook over low heat for 5 to 10 minutes.
9. Add the half-and-half while the tortillas are cooking.
10. Mix in the milk and stir continuously.
11. Add chicken to the mixture or serve separately.
12. Sprinkle salt and pepper to taste.
