Make Sesame Sticks

Sesame sticks make a great snack or addition to a salad. Whatever their use, making sesame sticks at home takes only a few minutes. With a brief baking time and only a few simple steps, sesame sticks are a great project for kids to cook or a quick treat to make. Aside from being delicious and easy to make, sesame sticks are healthy. Sesame seeds are rich in iron, magnesium, copper and calcium, making them an ideal ingredient for many snacks.

Instructions

1. Grease two baking sheets and preheat your oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.

2. Stir the cream and biscuit baking mix together until completely blended. Roll the dough out onto a flat floured surface and flatten it into a rectangle. Cut the dough into strips. The sesame sticks can be as thick as you choose.

3. Put the strips on the baking sheets and spread the melted butter on top of them. Sprinkle the sesame seeds over top of the dough.

4. Bake the sesame sticks for 10 to 15 minutes or until they turn golden brown. Cool before eating.
