Juice Recipes For Cholesterol

If you are battling high cholesterol, you can keep it at bay by consistently consuming natural anti-oxidants found in fruits and vegetables. Anti-oxidants help reduce the impact of free radicals, preventing them from damaging tissues, blocking arteries and raising cholesterol. Juicing is a fast and easy way to incorporate large amounts of these anti-oxidants into your diet.

Apple Celery Breakfast

Juice 2 apples with skin, 1 cucumber and 1 stalk of celery. Drink this every morning. Juices made from apples and celery are known to fight cancer and reduce cholesterol. They also improve headaches and upset stomachs.

Ginger Apple Miracle

Take 4 carrots, 1 apple, 1/4 inch of ginger and a handful of parsley to taste. Add a clove of garlic once you're used to the taste. The carrots and apple help to lower cholesterol and neutralize free radicals. The parsley and garlic provide loads of anti-oxidants.

Spinach Drink

If you are new to juicing, this is a mild recipe to start. Juice 2 celery stalks, half a bunch of spinach and 2 carrots. If you'd like the mixture to be a bit sweeter, add a splash of orange juice or 1/4 of an apple. Spinach is full of anti-oxidants, which help keep cholesterol at healthy levels.

Watermelon Cooler

Juice half a medium-sized broccoli floret, a small bunch of kale and and 2 slices of watermelon cut into small pieces. Each ingredient has a high anti-oxidant content, a great foil to damaging free radicals.
