One of the most popular places to go for oysters in Portland is the Dan and Louis Oyster Bar Restaurant. Established in 1907 by Louis C. Wachsmuth, Dan and Louis has been kept open by multiple generations of the same family. The restaurant is located in Portland's Old Town district downtown. Dan and Louis serves up to 12 different varieties of oysters, depending on the season, including local Yaquina Bay, Kumamoto and Netarts Bay oysters. The restaurant is open daily for lunch and dinner and offers a full dinner menu and bar in addition to oysters.

Pacific Oyster
Located on the Oregon coast, the Pacific Oyster restaurant is located right next to an oyster processing plant. Nothing fancy, the Pacific Oyster restaurant is more about the food than the ambiance. Beyond raw oysters, the Pacific Oyster also offers varieties such as fried oysters, oyster burgers and oyster stew. All oysters are locally harvested and come in variety of sizes, such as the Yaquina Bay and the Kumamotos. The Pacific Oyster offers other types of seafood such as crab and salmon. It is open most days for lunch and dinner, except Saturday.

Eat: An Oyster Bar
A newer oyster bar in Portland is Eat: An Oyster Bar. Located in Northern Portland, Eat has received accolades from local press such as one of the Willamette Week's 100 Favorite Places to Eat, and is listed as having one of the city's best desserts by the Oregonian. Open daily from 11:30 a.m., Eat offers oysters raw, baked, Rockefeller and Bienville. You can also buy many varieties of oyster shooters. In addition to oysters, Eat offers a full New Orleans-style menu and full bar.
