Mix Juice & Sparkling Cider

Use real fruit to enhance the flavor of your sparkling cider and juice mixture.

Whether you are throwing a party or just want to create a special drink to go along with your dinner, sparkling cider makes a versatile base for your punch, mocktail or cocktail. The bubbles in the cider will make your drink feel light and refreshing. Sparkling cider is a carbonated version of apple cider and is often used as an alternative for champagne toasts. By mixing sparkling cider with different types of juices, you can create unique flavor combinations for fruity and delicious beverages.

Instructions

1. Fill a punch bowl with ice. Keeping the cider and juice mixture cold will prevent all of the bubbles from escaping before you finish your drink.

2. Pour the sparking cider into the bowl. Hold the bottle close to the ice; more of the carbonation will be retained in the drink.

3. Add flavored juice of your choice to the drink. Grape, pineapple, cranberry and orange juice all taste great when combined with sparkling cider. For best results, a 1:1 ratio of cider to juice is recommended. However, juices with stronger flavors, such as pineapple, will require less juice. Add a little bit of juice at a time and sample the mixture. Remember, you can always add more juice into a mix, but you cannot take it out.

4. Toss in slices of fruit to intensify the flavors that you used in your drink and to improve presentation. Fruit can also be used as a garnish for your glasses.

5. Serve your drink using a ladle to each of your guests.
