Homemade chocolate sauce adds appeal to almost any dessert. Top your favorite ice cream with chocolate fudge sauce during the summer months. Instructions
1. Combine the sugar, flour, salt and cocoa. Set the bowl aside.
2. Place the water and vanilla in a saucepan over medium heat.
3. Stir in the dry ingredients. Cook and stir the mixture about 6 minutes, or until it thickens. Serve warm.
4. Store the chocolate sauce in your refrigerator. Use it within two weeks. Reheat the leftover sauce before serving.
