A Blue Hawaiian sunset
The Blue Hawaiian is a cocktail that includes a fairly extensive ingredient list and necessitates some hardware to produce it properly. It makes up for these cumbersome aspects by being one of the better cocktails you're ever likely to taste. It is, for all intents and purposes, a Hawaiian sunset at the beach that's served frozen in a glass. Here's make your own Blue Hawaiian.
Instructions
Making Your Own Blue Hawaiian
1. Fill your pint glass about half full with ice.
2. Dump the ice from the pint glass into your blender.
3. Add the coconut-flavored rum, blue Curacao, pineapple juice and cream of coconut to the blender.
4. Place the blender's lid firmly on top and blend the mixture on high until it is completely smooth and uniform.
5. Pour the mixture into your pint glass.
6. Garnish with a slice of pineapple on the rim of the glass and a maraschino cherry on top of the Blue Hawaiian.
