Ever since Lil Jon introduced the 'Pimp Cup' to today's pop culture, it has quickly become the 'must have' item of the bar scene. While you can purchase these online, it's quite simple to make your own, more personalized, Pimp Cup.

Make a Pimp Cup
1. Choose a goblet or other type of stemmed drinking glass that suits you. Hurricane glasses work well, and some people use margarita glasses or wine glasses, too.
2. Paint the cup with a non-toxic paint if you desire. You can also just leave it clear. You're the designer, so do whatever you want to do to make this Pimp Cup personal to you.
3. Decide on a design you want to put on your Pimp Cup. It can be a name, initials, a design, a logo, or a picture. Be creative! You may want to avoid putting design on the stem of the cup, since you will need a place to hold it. Try to keep the design fairly simple, since it will be created using rhinestones. You will also want to keep the design about a quarter to a half inch down from the lip of the cup, so you have a spot to drink from.
4. Glue rhinestones onto the glass in the pattern you chose. Take your time to line up the rhinestones. This part of the project is quite time consuming and a bit tedious, but it is well worth it for the end product. Work in a small area at a time so the glue doesn't dry too quickly. Just use a little bit of glue to hold each rhinestone to the cup--it really doesn't take a lot. Let one side dry completely before turning the cup to work on the other side, otherwise you risk smearing what you just glued to the cup.
5. Set the cup aside and let it dry overnight. If some rhinestones don't have enough glue holding them to the glass, they will fall off while drying, so you may need to make some repairs in the morning.
6. Enjoy your Pimp Cup! Use it to drink your favorite beverage, and watch as your friends envy your new cup! Only wash out the inside with a damp soapy cloth to clean it. If you submerge the cup in water, the glue will let loose and the rhinestones will fall off. Water could also harm the paint, if you used paint on the cup.
